Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a baking dish, place the chicken breasts side by side in a single layer.
Pour the marinara sauce evenly over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are well covered.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously on top of the marinara sauce.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 75°C).
If desired, you can broil it for an extra 2-3 minutes at the end for a beautifully melted and slightly golden cheese top.
Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve the chicken on a bed of cooked pasta or alongside a fresh salad. Garnish with fresh basil and an extra sprinkle of mozzarella for visual appeal.
