In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, chopped onion, minced garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, black pepper, and dried thyme. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Shape the mixture into a loaf form and set aside.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of oil to prevent sticking.
Carefully place the meatloaf in the skillet. Cover with a lid and cook for about 30-35 minutes, turning occasionally for even cooking.
After about 20 minutes, spread ketchup evenly over the top of the meatloaf to create a delicious glaze.
Continue to cook until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
Once cooked, transfer the meatloaf to a cutting board and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with your favorite sides.
