Instructions
Start by patting the shrimp dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This helps them sear better.
In a bowl, toss the shrimp with minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Make sure the shrimp are coated evenly.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the shrimp to the pan in a single layer.
Cook the shrimp for 1-2 minutes on each side or until they turn pink and opaque. Be careful not to overcook them.
While the shrimp are cooking, warm the corn tortillas in a separate skillet or on a grill for about 30 seconds on each side until they're pliable.
To assemble the tacos, place a generous scoop of shredded cabbage on each tortilla. Top it with the garlic shrimp and a few slices of avocado.
Garnish with fresh cilantro and a squeeze of lime juice for extra flavor. Serve the lime wedges on the side.
