1/2cupcrushed nuts (almonds, pistachios, or hazelnuts)
1/2cupcolorful sprinkles (optional)
as neededlollipop sticks or skewers
Instructions
Prepare Strawberries: Insert a lollipop stick or skewer into the stem end of each strawberry, making sure it's securely in place without going through the berry.
Melt Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and coconut oil. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
Coat Strawberries: Hold each strawberry by the stick and dip it into the melted chocolate, ensuring it's well-coated. Allow excess chocolate to drip off.
Add Toppings: Immediately roll the chocolate-dipped strawberry in your choice of crushed nuts or colorful sprinkles, covering it completely on all sides.
Set Pops: Place the finished chocolate-covered strawberries upright in a foam block, a glass, or on parchment paper to set.
Chill: Refrigerate the strawberry pops for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate has completely hardened.
Serve: Once set, they’re ready to be enjoyed!
Notes
Make sure to let the chocolate set completely before serving.
