crushed tomatoes

Worcestershire sauce (non-alcoholic)

brown sugar

fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onions and green bell pepper. Sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the ground chicken to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Sprinkle the Cajun seasoning over the chicken and mix well.
Pour in the crushed tomatoes and Worcestershire sauce. Add the brown sugar, and stir everything together.
Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 10-15 minutes until the mixture thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Toast the hamburger buns lightly while the chicken mixture simmers.
To serve, spoon the Cajun chicken mixture onto the toasted buns and garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
Serve with a side of fries or a salad for a complete meal.
